Information about me: my experience and goals in life

My name is Liliia Tkachuk. I'm 17 years old and I'm a freshman in the major 035.10 Applied Linguistics in the National University of Ostroh Academy. From the primary school I was interested in studying English and I wanted to connect my future with it. In my 11th grade, when I was choosing my future major, I become interested in applied linguistics and its perspectives in my future job. 

My goal for now is intensively studying foreign languages (English and French) to have a possibility to study abroad by the international educational programs that my university has. I am sure that it would be really valuable experience in my life. Federico Fellini once said, "A different language is a different vision of life." I completely agree with his saying because knowing languages gives us a lot of opportunities in all fields and helps us to see our world from different sides. Therefore, we live in a developing world, so computer technologies are in demand, especially when it helps to work with language data. Of course, I want to study well and do my best to gain knowledge to be a successful person in my future.
